School Dinners
All the meals served at school are halal. Meals are freshly cooked in the modern school kitchen. Children can bring packed lunches if they wish. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive free school meals.

Free School Meals
To qualify for free school meals, you or your partner must receive one of the following qualifying benefits:
- Income Support or income based Jobseekers Allowance
- Guaranteed Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (but not if you or your partner are receiving Working Tax Credit. In addition, you must not work 16 hours or more per week, and your total annual household income must be low enough.
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.
How to apply
If you think you may be entitled to claim free school meals for your child, please come to the school office for an application form. Alternatively, you can download the form from the Rochdale Borough Council website.
How we can help you to apply
If you need any help filling in the form, we are happy to help. You can hand the form in at the school office, and we will send it in for you, or you can take it directly to the council offices yourself.
Pupil premium funding
If you think you may be eligible to claim, please do so. The school receives additional "Pupil Premium" funding for every child who is eligible for free school meals. This is spent on these children to ensure they make the best possible progress in school. Thank you.
